Hi there, welcome to my digital portfolio!

I'm a 4th-year student at the Schulich School of Business. With my dual specialization in both Marketing and Operations Management, I'm able to develop creative solutions that are based on data and analytics!

Through my extracurricular involvement at Schulich, I've had the opportunity to develop my marketing and designs skills, as well as learn how to lead a team with compassion and be a valuable team player! With a passion for design, technology, sports business, and research, at the end of the day, I look forward to working with people and bringing ideas to life!

The O-Week Instagram page!

As VP Marketing, I had used both my creative side and "Type A" side!

 

I used the creative side to spearhead the visual brand to make engaging stuff like the branded merchandise (left) or fun animations to post on our social media (left).

The second part of this was staying organized and communicating everything to successfully implement the plan. For example, the PDF below, "READ ME", was created to ensure that the team could successfully edit the branded deck templates and that all relevant information was passed on! 

What you see below is an Instagram Grid Preview program within Google Sheets that I was able to develop using my VBA coding knowledge! I first developed it for my summer internship and decided to utilize it for O-Week planning as well! 

YORK SPORTS BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

Marketing Director | Co-President | Senior Advisor 

In order to generate excitement for the York Sports Business Association's (YSBA) upcoming year, I created a high-energy teaser video (above)! The challenge was to find the right footage and music and making sure that the tempo of the overall video was fast-paced and enthusiastic!

When the Black Lives Matter movement gained international attention in the summer of 2020, I wanted to utilize YSBA's platform and my role as Co-President to help the cause. I was able to go through all the courses provided at York University, design this graphic overnight and share it via YSBA's social media accounts (top right). It lists a handful of the courses provided by our university that can support the students in learning more about the social and political structures in our society. To improve the company's communication, my group (hypothetically) recommended to DAVIDsTEA to develop an app. I was responsible for designing the app mockup and editing a simple advertisement that could be used to promote the app.

My role as a Marketing Director on Schulich's Student Council allowed me to practice and improve my graphic designing skills. By designing the yearbook cover and promotional graphics throughout the year, I was able to learn what makes an effective graphic that fits the visual brand as well as communicates information to its audience!
