Bruce's Bad Day
In the beginning of the movie, Bruce had a really bad day which led him to be angry with everyone including his girlfriend. Here are three things that happens to Bruce that day:
1. Bruce got fired from his job
During a live cast, Bruce finds out that Evan Baxter got the job promotion he wanted. He freezes during the live cast and loses his job.
2. He gets attacked for helping a stranger
Despite being fired moments ago, he still decides to help a homeless man who was being abused by some thugs. In return of being a kind neighbor, he gets attacked by the thugs. He asks God if this is what he deserved for being kind.
3. Bruce's car gets destroyed
After fighting with his girlfriend, Grace, he goes out to drive and "fight" with God and ask Him why He's playing with his feelings. While driving, Bruce gets into an accident and his classic car gets wrecked.

1. Why does God give Bruce His powers?
God gave Bruce His powers to let Bruce prove if he can do a better job than God. God was tired of Bruce's complaining so He decided to test his by giving him all His powers.
2. List 3 extraordinary miracles that Bruce performs
1. He walks of water
After he leaves the building after meeting with God the first time, he steps on the deep puddle that he stepped into before. Like Jesus, Bruce walks on water.
2. He moves the soup
When he was given soup that he didn't wanted in the first place, he, like Moses, moves it apart. This is a miracle because he shows force on nature; he controls something that can't be controlled.
3. Bruce defends himself against the thugs
When Bruce encounters the thugs and attacked him earlier, he stands up to them and makes a monkey come out of one of the person's buttocks. This scares them and they run away.
Bruce and his girlfriend
1. Why does Bruce lose his girlfriend?
Bruce loses his girlfriend because she catches him with another girl and thinks he's cheating on her. She doesn't trust him that he's telling the truth and leaves him. Also, he was getting ahead of himself and believed he is invincible so he needed a reality check that he cannot control everything.
2. Why can't Bruce make his girlfriend love him?
Loving someone is freewill that someone cannot control, even God (or someone with powers like God aka Bruce). If he can't control Grace's freewill, he can't make Grace love him if she doesn't want to. Also, from Grace's, perspective, Brice is acting selfish and doesn't care about her needs. She just finds find him at the worst moment and leaves him.
Bruce's Greatest Miracle
1. What is Bruce's "greatest miracle"? How is it different from most of his other miracles?
Bruce's greatest miracle was to help others and make his community better. After he died and went o heaven, God told him to be the miracle. After he came back, he started to help others and improved his community. For example, he was at the blood drive giving blood even though he was scared. He also let Evan Baxter have the job he wanted. This miracle is different from him others miracle because it benefited others and not only himself. These miracles helped others and Bruce chose to do that.
2. How is Bruce's "greatest miracle" similar to Jesus's greatest miracle?
Jesus' greatest miracle was to save us and bring us into the light of God. Bruce did the same by helping everyone and making everyone a better person and bringing them closer to God. Bruce also helped the helpless and put others before himself. Jesus has taught everyone to be faithful to God and despite the fact that Bruce was not in the beginning, he became faithful and made everyone faithful with him.
